We often pop in for the menu of the day during the week this is amazing value and quality and will give you the opportunity to try local food you might not have thought of. Thursday is cava day, where they will offer you a glass or two of cava on the house. If you prefer a la carte, they have an excellent menu, not to mention a good selection of local wines

Restaurant Hotel Pepo

A restaurant we regularly frequent for both the lunch time “menu of the day” and evening “a La carte” menu. Very typical Catalan food to a very high standard and both the a la carte and menu of the day have a large choice.
The décor and layout of the restaurant is well presented and lends itself to a relaxed meal. It must be said that the menu of the day is excellent value at €12.50.
The Hotel is located at the far end of the village, when you see the Swimming pool turn Right and immediately left and you’re at Pepo’s.

Els Fogons De Cal Ferrer

Located on a side street very near the river just up from the mooring. This is a small but very friendly bar restaurant light and airy inside with a small number of tables and there are several tables outside. A traditional Spanish bar/bistro. We spend most Wednesday and Friday evenings here and use it as a meeting place for guests.

Restaurant Mas d’en Curto

The ‘finca’ and wonderful surroundings use to be a typical farming house. The owner’s family have lived there for generations of the restaurant’s owner who lives at the property, has transformed this place into a restaurant without losing its rustic charm. The restaurant’s cuisine is very creative, using organic foods with amazing bio wines to match.
We are located immediately after the mile 6 of the TV.3222 Road between El Perelló Rasquera. At this point you will see a sign post that indicates a paved road which for three and a half km winds through woods and cultivation land, eventually you will arrive at the gates of the restaurant. The parking site is surrounded by almonds and olive trees.

Villa Retiro (one Michelin star)

If what you want is to have the most enjoyable experience, try this restaurant. It occupies the former stables of a property that is now home to a hotel and restaurant. Features include a 100-year-old fig trees by the entrance, a well, and a rustic yet elegant dining room. The wealth of local ingredients from the Mediterranean coast and the delicate presentation of the dishes are difficult to surpass. They have fixed menus and a la carte service. Their wine selection is extensive and with very good choices of Spanish and foreign brands. If you want a detour, mental and culinary, of the routine of the coastal restaurants this is the choice stop or even as a destination if visiting the Tarragona/Castellon area. It is also in the edge of the Terra Alta wine region including the Batea wineries and the staff can direct the visitor to the Wine Cathedral in nearby Pinell de Brai. Parking is free at the edge of extensive/well-groomed gardens. This is a place where you get what you paid for.
